I travelled to Liverpool, with the expectation that i was there at The Dakotas invitation to photograph them previewing their new cd "Everlasting" on Spencer Leigh's "On the Beat" programme at Radio Merseyside.
So it was a pleasant surprise upon meeting up with Mike Maxfield and Eddie Mooney from The Dakotas and Spencer Leigh, to be asked if i minded speaking about my website during the show.As iam always looking for ways of promoting my site i readily agreed to go on air to talk about it.
The "On the Beat" show runs for just under an hour during which Spencer chatted with Mike & Eddie about the bands lastest cd,which incidentally was recorded at Powerhouse studio, which is a 24 track recording studio that Mike Maxfield has built in the basement of his home!
Spencer also played quite a few of the tracks from the cd and the quality of the tracks is amazing.I have never heard"Everlasting Love" sound as good as this and i can see that the song "trains and boats and planes" will be come a firm favourite of mine when i finally get my hands on a copy of the cd,which incidently had been planned to be released to coinside with the start of the Solid Silver Sixties 2003 tour on 20 February that The Dakotas are a part of.
Unfortunately a slight delay means that the cd won't be available until the week after.
My own chance to speak came when Spencer went on to talk about websites and here was when i got the chance to let the people of Liverpool know what                                was all about.

My moment in the spotlight was only brief ,but hopefully i was able to clearly convey all the different aspects of the site.
I must thank The Dakotas for the invite to Liverpool and also to Spencer Leigh for giving me the opportunity to be on his show.
